Shortly after the inauguration of our collaboration, we witnessed the true spirit of mutual cooperation as the residents of Barusari Village came together to begin the demolition of SDN 3 Barusari and SD 4 Barusari in Garut.
With local families, teachers, and students, the spirit of solidarity was deeply felt, driving this community-led effort to rebuild after the recent earthquake. 🌱✨

With support from the local government, BPBD, Satpol PP, the TNI-Polri, and many others, the first steps toward rebuilding the school have officially begun!

As a show of inspiring support, Slamet Widodo, Deputy Assistant for Community Empowerment and Disaster Management at the Secretariat of the Vice President, joined us on-site to oversee the reconstruction of SDN 4 Barusari. His presence reflects the government's and community partners' commitment to ensuring a safe and resilient learning environment.

Through the combined efforts of @baktibarito, @HappyHeartsIndonesia, and @KitaBisa.org, a campaign is underway to raise IDR 1.4 billion for the construction of earthquake-resistant classrooms. While our partners contribute critical funding and sustainable materials, including recycled plastic bricks, the local community offers equally meaningful support through volunteer work and resource donations.
