Jakarta, 4 August 2022 – The Barito Pacific Scholarship is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of the Bakti Barito Foundation (Bakti Barito) for the children of the Barito Pacific Group employees who brainy in academics.
This scholarship is a form of appreciation for the Company in supporting education to create a superior generation. For the Barito Pacific Group, education has an important role in character building and is useful for increasing the nation's economic growth in the long term.
For more than 10 years, the Barito Pacific Group has provided tens of thousands of Scholarships for students at the junior secondary, senior secondary and university levels of education.
This year, Barito Pacific distributed scholarships to 27 children of outstanding employees. The evaluation criteria for the Barito Pacific Scholarship program are derived from a combination of employee performance appraisals and children's academic achievements as reflected in the children's education reports.
The requirements needed to join this program are to have a score of 8 on a scale of 10 or 80 on a scale of 100 for junior and senior high school students, and have a Grade Point Average (GPA) above 3.00 (private) and 2.8 (state) for college students.
By facilitating these scholarships, YBB and the Barito Pacific Group provide equal opportunities and access to students throughout Indonesia.
It is hoped that this scholarship can be used optimally to improve the best Human Resources for students so that they are ready to work in the world of work in the future.
