Jakarta, December 20, 2023 - PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), a subsidiary of Barito Pacific, has successfully received recognition through Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup (PROPER) 2023 from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The company was awarded the GOLD predicate for its petrochemical plants in Ciwandan and GREEN predicate for its plants in Pulo Ampel.

Chandra Asri Group's Ciwandan plant has produced environmentally friendly products, including those labeled with the Swadeklarasi Eco-label for HDPE and PP products. In the social aspect, Chandra Asri Group, in collaboration with fishermen, surrounding community, and the Anyar Village Government, has executed community empowerment programs in waste management.

Meanwhile, Chandra Asri Group's plant in Pulo Ampel has successfully produced environmentally friendly products in the Styrene Monomer category with a focus on waste reduction. In the field of biodiversity, Pulo Ampel plant has established Coral Reef Conservation in Teluk Banten, Development to support the Adiwiyata School in MTsN 5 Serang, and Taman TOGA Asri in the company's surrounding area.
